Jamia student, Avani Kaushal, in the Faculty of Law, JMI won a cash prize of Rs.100,000 for Best Speaker in the Amity International Criminal Law Moot Court Competition organized by the Amity Law School II, Amity University from February 22-24th 2014.
The Jamia team comprising: Avani Kaushal, Akanksha Bahuguna, and Sana Wasim were also declared First Runner-ups in the competition, which carried a cash prize of Rs. 11000.
