Media Co-ordinator Prof. Simi Malhotra Leaves for the Lt. Governor’s Office

According to an email from Jamia Millia Islamia Media Co-ordinator, Prof. Simi Malhotra, the Lt. Governor of Delhi and former vice-chancellor of JMI, Najeeb Jung, has asked Prof. Malhotra to work for him as his “Advisor, Academics, Media and Culture on deputation.” As a result, Prof. Malhotra has relinquished her position at Jamia with immediate effect.

In her place, Dr. Mukesh Ranjan, Associate Professor in the Department of English, has been appointed as the new media co-ordinator for Jamia.
