Author Aruni Kashyap Reads from his Novel at Jamia

The Centre for North East Studies and Policy Research, Jamia Millia Islamia under its Young Research Scholars Seminar Series, organized a “Session of Reading” by Aruni Kashyap on Tuesday, July 30, 2013. He read selected passages from his novel “The House with A Thousand Stories” and was in conversation with Ms. Preeti Gill, Consulting Editor of Zubaan publications.

Aruni Kashyap is a writer and translator. He grew up in Guwahati and studied at St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi. His works have been published in The Guardian, Open Democracy and Tehelka. He is regarded as an emerging young literary voice from the north-eastern part of India.
