Sheikh Al-Sabah, Minister for Al-Diwan Al-Amiri Affairs of Kuwait, Visits Jamia

On Tuesday, March 12th, the India Arab Cultural Center, Jamia Millia Islamia organized a talk by Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Minister for Al-Diwan Al-Amiri Affairs, Kuwait. (Al-Diwan Al-Amiri are headquarters of the Amir of Kuwait.)

Sheikh Al-Sabah is also the former Prime Minister of Kuwait serving a term from 2006 till 2011. He is the nephew of the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. (Link)

Among others in the audience, several Directors of Centers and Deans of Faculty of Jamia where in attendance. The session was chaired by Vice-Chancellor Najeeb Jung.

Also, Prof. Zikrur Rahman, Director, India Arab Cultural Center briefed the minister of the activities of the Center, its aims and objectives, and the research work being conducted at the Center.

In addition, Sheikh Al-Sabah also inaugurated a photo exhibit in the exhibition hall of the center, in which, aside from photographs, rare manuscripts of Arabic books and the Holy Quran were on display.
