HRD Minister Mr. Kapil Sibal to Read Poetry at Jamia

[Following is a Jamia Press Release.]

Union Minister for Human Resources Development & Communications and Information Technology, Mr. Kapil Sibal, shall be reading from his latest book of poems titled My World Within on Jamia Millia Islamia campus on March 27, 2012.

“My World Within” is his second book of poems which was launched during the recently held Book Fair in the capital. His first book of poems titled I Witness: Partial Observation was released in the year 2008.

The ‘Session of Readings’ by Mr Kapil Sibal will be held at 11.30 AM on March 27, 2012 in Dr. M.A. Ansari Auditorium, Jamia Millia Islamia.

On this occasion, Hindi and Urdu translations of some of his poems will also be read out. The students’ of Jamia Millia Islamia’s Faculty of Fine Arts will also be putting on display a few sketches and illustrations of Mr. Sibal’s poems.

Mr. Najeeb Jung, Vice-Chancellor, Jamia Millia Islamia will preside over the function and will offer the concluding remarks on the occasion.
